Stephanie’s Loving Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos – Part 3

My final experience at the Le Blanc Spa Resort is the hotel’s namesake…. a visit to the spa! You can’t visit a spa resort without checking out the spa, right?

They have an entire floor dedicated to the spa and salon, and it’s relaxing from the moment you walk in. There are 25 treatment rooms, so you won’t have a problem getting an appointment for your preferred time. A bonus of staying at Le Blanc is you receive a $1500 USD resort credit, and up to $500 of that can be put towards the spa!

After quickly checking in with reception, you’ll be greeted with a warm neck wrap and a healthy juice. Your spa butler will then show you to the change rooms, where you’ll be assigned a locker and given time to change into your swimsuit.

You start your spa appointment with a trip through the hydrotherapy circuit. It is complimentary for all guests, even without a spa treatment. It’s recommended to arrive 60 to 90 minutes beforehand to enjoy all the sections. Starting off with a dry sauna, you’ll move into the ice room complete with chilled aloe vera (perfect after a day in the sun), then into the steam room with a mud mask and hair treatment, a cold and then warm shower, and finally a heated tile bed before you finish at the 3 pools. You take a drip in the warm pool first, then the hot tub and lastly the cold pool. It truly is a cold pool, and I didn’t last more than 5 seconds. It was surprisingly refreshing, however.

Your spa butler will collect you 10 minutes before your treatment so you can get dried off and ready. My massage was absolutely wonderful, and I was just about to fall asleep as it was wrapping up.

Whether you are looking for some adult R&R, the ultimate food experience, or a world class spa, the Le Blanc Spa Resort offers it all. I can’t wait to help you plan your visit here soon!

Today we are talking food. I truly appreciate a good meal, and Le Blanc doesn’t disappoint. I don’t think I’ve been to a resort that has such amazing food options from around the globe. In less than 36 hours I’ve dined on Italian, Mexican, seafood, and Lebanese. The variety of food choices from all parts of the world is something that makes Le Blanc Spa Resort really stand out.

With 8 dining choices for only 373 rooms, you’ll never have to wait in line for a meal. Each location has its own head chef to make sure that the menu is curated to reflect each cuisine authentically. You’ll fall in love with the pasta choices at Blanc Italia, enjoy authentic Mexican chilaquiles and a great view on the open terrace of Blanc Ocean, or be treated to a unique and flavorful meal at the Lebanese restaurant Mezze.

If you aren’t in the mood to leave the comfort of your bed, there is always the room service menu just a click away on the resort app. On Sunday I ordered a mid afternoon snack, which arrived in a record 23 minutes. The service is supreme.

Room service in record time

With another 2 nights to go here, I hope I can find the time to enjoy the remainder of the dining venues. My waistband might not agree, but it’s hard to pass up such great food!

Sunrise from the room

Good morning from the Le Blanc Spa Resort Los Cabos. I’m very excited to spend 4 nights here and to share some highlights with you.

I arrived Saturday afternoon, and Le Blanc surely gives an amazing first impression! Check-in was quick and painless, and I was escorted to my room by my butler! That’s right, each floor has a dedicated butler team to assist with all you’re needs. The butler went through the room with me, showing all the features such as the gorgeous soaker tub (that your butler will draw up for you), the fully stocked mini bar (complete with snacks) and the resort app (where you can order room service, aromatherapy, bath salts and more). I can truly say that anything you could want is just a quick call away.

As I settle in, unpack (which your butler will do if you wish) and recover from a long day of travel, I can’t wait to explore the rest of this stunning resort. If its even half as stunning as the view from my room, I may never come home! Stay tuned as my journey unfolds…

IMG_6824As we were in Los Cabos over Halloween and Day of the Dead, the staff at Secrets Puerto Los Cabos invited us to a special Halloween/Day of the Dead party!  It was such a great experience!  They set up a haunted house for us to walk through which was pretty cool!  The party area was decorated beautifully with Day of the Dead decor and they even had professional Sugar Skull face painters for those who wanted to get their face painted!  Those who got their face painted looked fantastic!  Unfortunately, I did not get my face painted as it would not have gone with my costume.  They also had a live band performing for us, games, and a huge buffet with a ton of delicious food!  The setting was beautiful, the atmosphere was fun and lively, and the food was just amazing!

I highly recommend staying at the Secrets Puerto Los Cabos and if you have the chance, to travel over Halloween!  It was so much fun!   For more details about the Los Cabos hotels I visited or to book your next vacation please feel free to email me at!

It’s October 30 and we just checked into Dreams Los Cabos! I have never been to Los Cabos or stayed at a Dreams resort before. I had an idea of what to expect, but wow! Both the resort and destination have exceeded my expectations!

Dreams Los Cabos is a breathtaking resort that goes above and beyond! Being the picky eater that I am, the employees at Dreams went above and beyond to accommodate my dislike for seafood! One waiter said he would make sure my salad did not have seafood then another waiter brought me a salad with shrimp. Before I could even take a bite, the first waiter came by and noticed I had received a seafood salad; he brought me out a new salad immediately!

a “shrimp-free” salad

The service here is truly top notch! It’s the little things that make all the difference! Some of other small gestures the resort does is provide every room with items such as a fresh fruit platter, your housekeeping maid’s name and how to reach her, tooth brushes and tooth paste, razors, SPF lotion, bathrobes, and slippers! This resort is amazing! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow brings!

Colleen’s Cabo Getaway – Final Blog

Pool Time

We really enjoyed our stay at the Hyatt Ziva Los Cabos.  Yesterday we found the adult pool tucked away behind building 3.  It was really nice with a multi level pool and in the water loungers.  The best part was that it has its own bar and restaurant that is never busy. Plus they have their own servers who are there to get you whatever you want.  Last night was  Mexican night, they brought vendors in from town so you could shop and never leave the resort.  We were living the good life!

We are sitting at the airport and are very happy with our vacation. We really liked being so close to Cabo San Lucas at the RIU Santa Fe.  It was a great town to be close to with all the restaurants and bars but the Hyatt Ziva was just the nicer of the 2 resorts. A nice hotel is hard to beat. Our only disappointment was that you could not swim in the ocean from either resort. But if the Hyatt were to invite us back we would not hesitate.

I would be happy to talk to you about a vacation in Cabo. Just call us at 306-242-TRIP.

Colleen’s Cabo Getaway – Part 3

The view from our Room at the Hyatt Ziva

Today we left the RIU Santa Fe and headed to the Hyatt Ziva in San Jose Del Cabo.  We really enjoyed our stay at the RIU.  The hotel was very clean with beautiful grounds and very friendly staff.  It has a very young clientele who like to party but if you stay at the pool in the middle of the resort it is very quite.  Just a reminder that there is construction at the RIU Palace until December so it can be noisy during the day.

We jumped in a cab and it took us 25 minutes to get to the Hyatt and 35.00USD.  We were happy at the RIU but right away we could tell the difference between the two hotels. We have a beautiful room with a bed that is like a football field with a huge bathroom and a balcony with an ocean view. We headed down to the pool and were greeted by the pool boys who helped us find a seat and get us cushions for our chairs right away the waiter was there getting our drink order.  There are no towel cards so you can have as many towels as you like. It is a totally different holiday but you get what you pay for.  Cheap is not always the way to go!  There are food carts at different areas of the pool so lunch was 2 shrimp tacos and nachos. After lunch we headed down to the beach to find you can’t swim in the ocean here either! This is a beautiful resort with all the amenities.  We are just going to settle in and enjoy the next couple of days.
